Frequently Asked Questions
Why is the RacerSpacer™ a better design than other wheel spacers?
The RacerSpacer™ is 50-80% lighter than comparable aluminum or steel spacers. The RacerSpacer™ reduces unsprung weight and rotational load, two key factors that can improve race car function.
Q:How do RacerSpacer™ wheel spacers meet strength requirements?
A:The compression force of the wheel lugs on the spacer is managed with high-strength durable aluminum bushings that are molded into an engineered structural glass fiber composite shell. Both materials provide a unique combination of high strength with minimal weight.
Q:What sizes are available?
A:
The 5x5 Wheel RacerSpacer™ comes in five thicknesses: 1/16", 1/8", 1/4", 5/16", and 1/2". The Wide 5 Wheel RacerSpacer™ comes in three thicknesses: 1/16", 1/4", and 1/2". Each size is color coded for easy identification.
Q:How do I know the RacerSpacer™ will fit my race car hubs?
A:Most race wheel lugs are either 4.75" or 5.0" in diameter. The 5x5 RacerSpacer™ wheel spacers have hole patterns that accommodate both diameters. The Wide 5 RacerSpacer fits the Wide 5 lug pattern.
Q:What are the installation requirements?
A:As with all wheel spacers, make sure the wheel lugs are long enough for the thickness of the spacer(s) you choose. We recommend that your lug nuts should rotate seven turns to fully secure the wheels. Periodically check the lug nuts to make sure they are properly torqued.
Q: A:Sales are final upon completion of payment. A RacerSpacer™ may be returned within 30 days if it is defective. No returns will be accepted without a return authorization – please contact us for details.
Q:What is your warranty?

Due to their intended use, the Manufacturer makes no warranties whatsoever, express or implied, oral or written, to Purchasers of their products regarding performance, safety, fit, merchantability or length of service.
